Last November I lost my only grandparent–my grandmother Henrietta Dacus Golden, she was beautiful and loving. My family has always been large and we supported each other always, but my grandmother was a sort of glue for my family.

As stated by wikipedia, entropy is a thermodynamic property. How I basically understand it is that it makes everything in the universe spread apart in a chaotic matter. My current job dictates that I make changes to existing websites. Today a change that I had to make caused a bit of a stir in my inner-designer heart. The premise is simple enough, take this current logo as seen below. And switch it out with this pre-made monstrosity of collage, animal, and bad typography.…MORE PLEASE!
Shadow of the Colossus & Ico \ September 20th, 2010
My all time favorite game has always been Shadow of the Colossus. Recently SONY decided to re-master both Ico and Shadow of the Colossus for the PS3, which is pure magic. Free Fall a Short Film \ September 2nd, 2010
This is probably one of the most well done short films. It combines perfect cinematography and a very well matched song. One of the best aspects about it though is how well it changes the perspective throughout the short, seamlessly and aesthetically enjoyable. Recently Abduzeedo has started doing something called World Collaborations . It is a project where they get a really well known designer to submit a work of art, they then get community members to take the .psd file and change\”collaborate” on the piece. This is a really fantastic movie, everyone needs to see it and read the books. I was lucky enough to see a pre-screening last night and I must say the film full rein-visions the series with a few tweaks that surprise and delight.
