Entropy is a thermodynamic property.

As stated by wikipedia, entropy is a thermodynamic property. How I basically understand it is that it makes everything in the universe spread apart in a chaotic matter. It is basically the way in which things lose heat and the universe eventually hits the big crunch; this being were all stars run out of gas to burn and the average temperature in the universe reaches absolute zero. We can basically thank a rule of thermodynamics for the eventual death of life.

So I decided to romanticize the idea of entropy and relate it to human existence. One of the prevailing ideas right now is that entropy is basically what prevents us from going back in time. We are essentially living time in reverse, the future has already happened and we are slowly unraveling it. Things dissipate as time moves forward, and thus so does life. Anyway, that being said, the next time you have a horrible break-up just blame entropy.
