challenge

Develop a brand that builds on two facets, comedy and amateur film making. Make its identity stand out from a sea of like-minded shows in Atlanta.

Ladie’s Night (Brian Emond, Joel Ruiz, and Zach Lamplugh): A comedy and amateur film making show based out of Atlanta.

Branding.
One of the more noted aspects of the brand is its miss-spelling. It’s an element done purposefully to imbue a sense of absurdism that permeates throughout the show and sketches.
^Not really though, but it works…

One of the biggest draws of the show is its diversity, bringing in large comics such as TJ Miller as well as local acts.

Ladie’s Night is a weird, fun time. I wanted to reflect this in their merch.

Illustration / Shirts

Along with the comedy show, Ladie’s Night sells custom t-shirts. The direction for the illustration style is always different, playing off the idea of inviting a variety of comedy to their show. Each shirt strives to play off a different theme, whether it be a classic artist or a popular movie.

Odds & Ends
If you’re ever in Atlanta on the first Thursday of the month, around 10:30pm, do yourself a favor and see the show.
