Imagine SONY's hand-held in the cloud
The objective behind the PGP.
Frustrated with the lack-luster ability of the current system SONY produced, the psp-- I sought out to design and develop something that would succeed the current device and show what it should really be. The idea behind this device was to be fully dynamic, hence the name procedurally-generated-portable. This name basically meant that the device's functions are handled on the fly through a cloud network, which means memory, rendering, transfers, and etc. are all done in an instant outside of the device itself.
Marketing campaign.
One of the problems with SONY's marketing is its inability to communicate just one message. Most, if not all of their advertisements cover too many topics and through a cheap tactic of being controversial. With this campaign I wanted to center everything around the device and its capabilities, rather than its differences.

The Interactive Part.
Along with a print campaign I develop a mini-site to accompany the push for the device's identity. The site promoted what the new device would look like and how it would interact. It was developed in flash and gives the user a general look into how each function works. Click the image to the right to view the site.
What would house the device?
Lastly, to compliment the marketing of the device I created packaging the would hold the product. Inside the packaging, I included an instruction manual to detail how the touchscreen worked.
