After the closet essentials article Dee and I made last month, we thought it would be a great idea to give you the highlight of what she wore in Paris. Based on her style we photographed every look at the most beautiful spots in Paris.
The Trench Coats
The Trench coat is a real closet essential, and it has been a statement piece since 1850. This coat never goes out of style. The great thing is you can wear this somewhat classy coat however you want. Every brand has its own version, fitted or oversized, for women and men. Dee is wearing an oversized model, really cool combined with a hoodie, knitted sweatpants, and Dr. Martens. Adding the glasses shows that there is a way to wear reading glasses and enhance your look.
Dee is wearing a trench coat and sweater by Uniqlo, pants from Cloé via Zalando, and reading glasses by Moncler. White boots are dr. Martens.
Dr. Martens
Dee loves these shoes/boots and you will always find a pair of them in her closet. It’s just the right type of shoe for her and that is what gives her look that boyish feel. And she can match them with anything.
Checkered Pants
Not an easy pattern to wear, and it can look a little dusty if worn wrong. Be careful not to go with a too small or too busy pattern. Dee chooses these high waisted, neat pants in combination with a modern t-shirt. She wears it with boots and accessories like the flower earrings of her grandma to give it that extra pop.
